Sea Isle Stories

CLICK HERE to watch on You Tube.

In the summer of 2006 the Drinker family vacationed in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Nancy, Jim, and Paul Freedman (Dan's grandmother, uncle, and cousin), along with family friends Evan Cuttic, Lisa Lotito, and Susan Fedynak were guests at our rental house down the shore. During the time this footage was shot, Dan met my girlfriend, Susan.

Love the photos and am about to watch the vid. I don't know if you remember me but I emailed you about your filming. My sister that is younger then me also has Down Syndrome. I just wanted to tell you that you have inspired me! Now, I am making videos of my own and posting them on YouTube and have gotten many hits. We now have a blog for our web show and are getting emails from fans. I just wanted to let you know that if I wouldn't have seen your videos, I wouldn't have wanted to do this. You have made me inspired and the reason I wanted to start was so I could possibly make videos of Tarenne when I get older. If you want to watch it is called the Thursday Web Show and we have episodes so far up to 8. We are making the 9th this Thursday. Thanks so much!

Sometimes Dan is not the man he thinks he is.

Dan is very lucky to have such a wonderful family.
However, most of the videos i've seen(filmed by Will)shows him being rude and bratty towards his mom.
His mother is a Saint and therefor
should receive the respect she diserves.
Do not be fooled by his disability!
Dan knows better than that.
He in fact has no charactor because
he's never been humble in any of the videos to date.
Dan only knows attitude and reacts without thinking about his situation thats only in the moment.

I bring this up due to my own situation. My Grandson has Down syndrome and at the age of 15 he's
been able to grasp the act of respect and humility.
Dan does have the ability to grasp this as well.He just gets so buttered up by all the flattery and praise.
Let him learn and earn the right passage into adulthood. Dan does have the intelligence to know the difference.
